Shelter Don Bosco is an organization working towards the betterment of street children of Mumbai since 1987. Initiated by the Salesian Society in the Province of Mumbai, Shelter Don Bosco is a part of the Don Bosco family of institutions that work with and for underprivileged children of the country.

The objective of the NGO is to reach out to the unreached rootless roofless children – and to empower them by imparting education, skill training and holistic personality development programmes. The aim is to assist these children in integrating into the larger society and settling down with dignity and independence.
