I wanted to let you know what a fantastic holiday I had and I miss India already and can’t wait to return!

Hotels:

Andaz Aerocity - Great hotel, including room, facilities, food and staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Dewa Retreat, Rishikesh - good hotel, staff and location. I felt the breakfast was very limited which was a bit disappointing. I did prefer the Ganga Kinare though from when I stayed there a few years ago so would probably stay there again when I return to Rishikesh or try Aloha On The Ganges.

Marriott, Siliguri - Best staff out of anywhere I stayed, really thoughtful and friendly. They have me a room upgrade on my second stay and also a cake when I was checking out, which was really appreciated. Hotel is great, including room, pool and restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone needing a stopover near Bagdogra.

Singtom Tea Estate, Darjeeling - Outstanding views, great food and lovely room. I had intended to stay here for 3 nights but due to Spice Jet delay I stayed for 2. In hindsight, I would suggest 1 night here including time to make the most of the tea estate and then 2 nights in a more central hotel.

Netuk House, Gangtok - Really good accommodation, including friendly and helpful staff, good food and accommodation and wonderful views. Definitely recommended!

Leela Palace, Delhi - I really enjoyed my stay here - the room, staff and food were excellent.

Overall, Travelite were excellent as usual - very helpful and efficient and I particularly appreciated this on the day I was delayed flying Delhi to Bagdogra when you helped make alternative arrangements I was not able to make it to Darjeeling the same day. I also appreciated the car upgrades in Delhi and it was great to meet you and put a face to the name.  Darjeeling and Sikkim have become some of my favourite places I’ve visited out of 6 trips to India and I can’t wait to return. 

I am thinking of returning to India in April next year - what would be the best order to do Manali, Shimla, Dharamsala and Dalhousie (flying in an out of Delhi). This is the next trip I’m thinking about and am keen to understand the best order and ways to travel to these place incorporating some train journeys?

Thanks so much for being in touch about our trip through Kerala.  I do think we had a great opportunity to see a rich variety of places in the region.  I particularly appreciated the guides that were set up to help us in Kochi, Periyar, and the Bird Sanctuary.  All were knowledgeable, on time, and willing to answer lots of questions.  No issues at all with the hotel arrangements,  The Poetree hotel in Periyar stands out as a super great hotel - a very bumpy road getting there but definitely worth it.  We were able to see some wildlife in Periyar too - in fact we got chased by an elephant for a few minutes - but our tracker had it under control.  That early morning walk in Periyar was a highlight for sure.  The other experience I would definitely mention was the houseboat.  The crew was fine - they didn't speak a lot of English but we were able to communicate just fine and they took good care of us.  The houseboat itself was charming and well-equipped.  I loved floating through the backwaters and seeing the small villages and lots of rice fields along the way.  Finally, I would mention our driver - Gobar is how I think you spell his name.  He took excellent care of us, and his driving skills were admirable.  I had to close my eyes a lot with all the weaving traffic, but he had it under control and I always felt safe with him.  We were able to visit a tea plantation and visited some of his family members who showed us how tapping of rubber trees worked.  While there was a lot of driving involved in the trip, I felt like we came away with a great sense of Kerala and how vibrant and beautiful a region it is.  Many thanks for your help.

Yes all went well and it is a very beautiful area to visit. Arrived back late last night.

Travelite did keep in contact and I gave them feedback. The driver Mandhu was very a very good driver and we felt very safe with him. The hotels were excellent and the local guides we had in Munnar and Cochin were also very good. It would have been good to have a local guide in Trivandrum as I am sure there was a lot more to see than just the temple .

The day on the houseboat was most enjoyable.

I would recommend this trip to my friends as the country and people are very interesting.

My apologies for not getting in contact sooner, but after arriving back home just before Christmas and New year, then catching up with the family, time has slipped by!

 

My wife and I would like to thank you and your team, especially Nishant Chanwaria, for an exceptional tour. We cannot praise your customer service high enough at every point we were in contact. We particularly appreciated Nishant contacting us to check that all was OK during our tour. All the hotels, with the exception of 'The Promenade' in Pondicherry, were excellent choices. 'The Promenade' is in an excellent location. The city of Pondicherry is fascinating with much history attached to it. This is true of so many Indian cities of course.

All our individual guides were excellent, being very knowledgeable.

Whilst on the road from Bangalore to Chennai, we would like to make a special mention for our driver, Moorthy. He was very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and always had a smile. We felt very relaxed and safe in his hands.

 

Thank you all again. We have great memories of our time in India. We shall definitely be in contact if we get to visit my other bucket list places of Shimla and Kashmir!

On our personal tour according to our wishes we visited Delhi, Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodphur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Ranthambore NP and Agra. Everything was just perfectly organized and to our complete satisfaction. After arriving at the airport our driver Ashwani and a staff member of Travelite picked us up and brought us to our first hotel. On the next morning our adventure started. Ashwani proved to be an absolute lucky choice. During the 2 weeks he took touchingly care of us and showed us "his" India. We even celebrated the holi festival with him - an unforgettable experience.

We booked the tour though Indien Discover https://www.indien-discover.de/ and all staff members were reliable and friendly, the hotels were wunderful and India with its imposing buildings was worth a trip for sure.

After 18 days in amazing India i´m back home.

All of them appreciated an excellent organization of the trip. We know that some of them are rather demanding clients and we were very glad to know that none of them had any discontent after the trip.

The guide was splendid. The clients decided that they would like to visit India again (on another itinerary). This is also a merit of the guide. They said that they would like to travel across India with this guide. Does he work on other itineraries?

The bus was beautiful. These clients traveled in many countries of the world but they never saw so large and comfortable seats.

On the whole, the entire trip was flawless.

Of the people who looked after us, your staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, the guide was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, informative and interesting to be with, and our driver was friendly, polite, helpful and very careful on the roads. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at both hotels, but particularly the authenticity of the Chettinaddu Mansion, which will long live in our memories. We have many photographs to remind us of the sights and temples we visited. Varanasi by far was my favorite place. The guide in Varanasi was also my favorite tour guide. In addition, I really liked the guides in Khajuraho & Agra. I really loved the way we were looked after by everyone.

I loved Rohet! I'm very happy we were able to see a smaller village and i LOVED the hotels in both Rohet & the fort of the sun hotel, Mihir Garh. It's the nicest hotel i've every seen.

We returned from our trip a few days ago and we wanted to write to let you know what an incredible time we had in India. Our travels throughout India were so great that we think it may have been our best vacation ever!

The sites that we visited and the things we saw were more impressive than we could have expected. There were absolutely no complaints about the hotels & travel arrangements. We were met everywhere and guided most effectively.

Lucknow: Taj Residency was a superb heritage style hotel and we had a really good stay there. 3 good restaurants all serving very good food.

Varanasi: Perfectly comfortable hotel. Sarnath was interesting and the early morning Ganga boat ride went off smoothly and everyone was glad that they made the effort

Orchha: The Amar Mahal hotel is an absolutely fabulous building in heritage style.

We split up at Udaipur and I gather that all the arrangements worked smoothly and everyone arrived back in UK safely.

The King’s Lodge in Bandhavgarh was great. I actually liked it better than the Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge where we stayed last year because the rooms were a little bit more spacious, cleaner, better air-conditioning and also the pool is very nice during the day to cool off after the heat! But in both accommodations the staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was good.

Last year we used Travelite India to organize a three day round-trip to Varanasi, Agra and Jaipur. family. I couldn't be more impressed with the friendly, prompt and
professional service that they provided and I highly recommend Travelite (India).

Planning a last minute trip to India in December of 2010 was a
daunting task. I contacted four highly rated tour companies by email,
and Travelite (India) responded immediately to my inquiry. Not only was Travelite (India) the
first company to respond, but they followed up with a tour itinerary
and quote before the other three companies had even replied to my
initial inquiry.

I was very impressed with the speed with which Travelite (India) was able to
arrange our trip on such short notice. They returned every e-mail and
phone-call, and our final itinerary was flawless.

The itinerary in India included guided tours of Delhi and Agra, in
addition to daily transportation and the five-hour car ride from Delhi
to Agra.

All of Travelite (India) representatives in India were welcoming and efficient.
They greeted us each morning and followed up with the tour guides at
every juncture. Our two tour guides were especially wonderful and
incredibly knowledgeable. We enjoyed our visit to the Taj Mahal, which
was packed with inside information from our guide, who wrote his MA
thesis on the foundations of the building.

I also have to make special mention of our driver, Balram, who was the
most attentive and thoughtful chauffeur. He made us feel comfortable

I have had a really brilliant stay in India so far & thank you very much for all the arrangements.
The driver was brilliant & very accommodation to my frequent stops as well as letting me know about the Hindu deities & culture en route between Delhi & Jaipur.
The guides were also very informative about the sites. It was only in Agra that I was a bit disappointed as I think I took too much time at the red fort & with an large crowd at the Taj only managed to get inside just after 6pm.
The hotels are super as well & with a wide range in there menu gives a good selection to cater for  the European dietary needs. the  hotel Khandela Palace was quite a good selection as I gave the more traditional family run experience. Thank you for this.

We had come to India thinking that this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We depart recognizing that once-in-a-lifetime is not enough. We look forward to a return trip in the near future.

All of the drivers were courteous and skilled. One in particular however Devender – our driver in Delhi was particularly outstanding. Not only did he display extraordinary skill and knowledge of the roads and areas in which we travelled, he was also wonderful about pointing out interesting sites and local information wherever we travelled. His warm demure and attentiveness were truly exceptional. 

All the guides were very good or excellent to varying degrees special recognition, however go to our guides in Agra (Adhi), Delhi (Rick) and Varanasi (Deo). While each had his own style and manner of presentation, they were all extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and gracious. We loved Adhi’s passion for the history and beauty of the moment, he showed us in Agra – as well as his easygoing nature and infectious laughter. We appreciated the breadth and depth of Deo’s knowledge about Sarnath and Varanasi – as well as his unusual insights, about the Buddhist and Hindu faiths and Indian culture more generally. He made sure we had the best seating at the evening Arti ritual and was very solicitous of our wishes and needs.

Travelite did an excellent job coordinating an ambitious itinerary for us and were remarkably flexible and patient when we decided to change things a bit – both before we arrived in India and even once we were in country. Special recognition and appreciation go to Nidhi who worked tirelessly to accommodate all of our concerns and needs. We felt very well taken care of and had great peace of mind knowing that we could contact her at any time during our trip if we had any concerns. She was wonderful.

Pre-trip services (communication, itinerary, etc). : Highly professional, timely attention to our needs and changing requirements in the trip planning phase.

Itinerary:  Interesting and varied. But, a lot to do in 17 days. Might  suggest encouraging clients to take a day or two rest in one or more destinations along the way.

Greeters: ALways on time, kind, friendly and extremely helpful.  This is one of the highlights of your services - it makes traveling in India easy and enjoyable.

Transportation: Very smooth - only snag was a train that was 5 hours late. Your greeter kindly stayed with us and helped us get onto the train when it finally came, at some personal cost to him, I believe, Very impressive.

We enjoyed our train ride to Jodphur - quite an adventure. 

Airlines arranged by Travelite were remarkably efficient and easy to manage. This allowed us to cover North, Middle and South India in a short period of time. 

Cars: comfortable; except that the air conditioning in our car in Kerala worked only intermittently.

Drivers : superb skill among them all. We we re never concerned about our safety or getting to our destination on time. Each was very kind and thoughtful.

Tour guides: all excellent; we particularly liked the guides in Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Ajanta and Ellora.  They were extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Hotels: 
            Rashmi:  Pleasant, particularly rooms on the 3rd floor with views. FIne for our needs - would recommend it; restaurant was good.  Still would like to try the Ganges View in the future.

            Osian Camel camp: excellent
            Udaipur: Trident - fine
            Araungabad: Taj excellent
            Komarakom Lake resort:  We did not get the upgrade to the Meandering Pool Villa when we arrived. After much negotiating John and Marilyn were able to secure one room for both nights. Since another was available only for one night Gary and I happily stayed in the Deluxe room.  It was fine for our needs. Food was superb, and the boat rides were delightful.
            Club Mahindra:  This was fine, although we were  not particularly  happy with the rooms we were assigned. After some resistance  by staff we were given rooms one floor up with an "eye view" which we really enjoyed . They have a beautiful patio to take in the scenery. Food was good.

Communication during the trip: Thank you Neha for checking up on us during the trip.  We felt particularly well care for!! Thank you for arranging the extra dinner in Munnar. We were treated as special guests there and had a delicious meal!

Thank you Neha for arranging our group of 17 to the Golden Triangle of India, three fascinating and captivating cities. It was a very well laid out itinerary that showcases the culture, history and architectural heritage of your country. The transportation provided was first rate. Hotel accommodation for the most part was excellent. There was a small glitch in our hotel in Agra, but was deftly smoothed out by Rajeev, our tour escort for the whole trip. In retrospect, we probably should have upgraded to a higher category room for this particular hotel.
 
High marks go to our tour escort Rajeev. It is definitely not easy to handle 17 different minds!!! With his knowledge and experience, we not only saw the historical pasts of India, but also the vibrant present that is so culturally differently from the western world.
 
This was an unforgetable trip, and the highlight Taj Mahal.....is beyond word. To anyone with reservation about travelling to India, I say go!!! It's an experience of a lifetime. And I would not hesitate to recommend Travelite (India) to make all travel arrangements when in India.

First of all let me thank you for a very well organized trip with appropriate pauses during the various city visits, not to tire us and to provide us with time to digest what we saw and to think, rather than rushing everywhere. The reception in Delhi started us off very well and pleasantly and this continued throughout the tour. The receptions and send offs at all airports were excellent and timely. At Mumbai we sent ourselves off because we came very early to the airport, delivered by a very nice driver whom we reserved for 8 hours after check out at 2:00 PM. The advice of our original escort at the time was very valuable in that we spent the morning walking and looking around Mumbai.

The drivers were excellent everywhere and sometimes doubled very effectively as guides and/or informants on the culture and living conditions in India.
Particularly helpful was our driver in Khajuraho; the other who was outstanding is Suno. He drove us and took us around Dungapur (from Udaipur and in Udaipur)in the evening and again up to the fort the next morning before driving us to Ahmedabad.

The guides were all superb - professional and very knowledgeable. This was particularly true in Khajuraho. Varanasi, Jaipur, Udaipur and fantastic in Mumbai; the one in Jodhpur was good but not great, in comparison to others.

The hotels were all very good. The one in Dungapur (the "hunting lodge") was ineresting but one day was enough to imbibe the atmosphere. The other hotels had all the amenities, reasonable breakfasts, clean, pleasant staff (outstanding in Varenassi Radisson - including the manager who took personal interest in us).

The flights were on time, efficient, and professional. Would urge everyone to fly rather than land travel most of the time between sites (a short 2-3 hour trip is fine, but many would be fatiguing and not very exciting except for traffic).

Overall, this was a superb trip due to your organization and personal attention that we received from almost everyone along the way. We could not ask for anything better. We would urge everyone to visit Mumbai at the end of the Rajahstan trip, to appreciate the contrasts that India offers.

We wanted to let you know that we arrived safely and on time on Christmas Day and have been resting up since then.

We also want to express our thanks to you for all you did to make our trip such a memorable experience. It will take us a little while to really process all that we saw and experienced.

You were so wonderful and helpful, keeping in touch with us and making the adjustments we requested. We filled out an evaluation form, but it was provided on the road to the airport, so we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to really do a thoughtful job on it.

All of the reps, guides and drivers were excellent, but two stood out in particular: our guide in Varanasi, Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, and our driver in the Bangalore area, Govinda Raju. Dr. Shailesh was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he arranged for a Hindu priest to accompany us on our sunrise boat ride, during which Elissa performed a Hindu ceremony with her mother's ashes. And Govinda, the driver, went out of his way to be helpful to us and was much more than a good driver.

There are many highlights from the trip: Varanasi, the Taj Mahal, Udaipur, the Rat Temple, the giant Jain statue, the houseboat, retracing the footsteps of Elissa's mother, etc. We are trying to figure out how to get our photos downloaded and will let you know when they are available. We hope that you are having a wonderful holiday season!

Before I go to bed, after my return, I want to tell you what a total delight my trip has been. Everything went like clockwork and I feltthat Ms. Nidhi was watching over me every step of the way. I was very impressed with all the guides because they were so knowledgeable and I was very grateful for the airport transfers. The guide for Ajanta and Ellora is a scholar. All the guides went out of their way to help me with unexpected details..such as I ran out of reading material and needed to find a bookstore. The guides never rushed me and were understanding when I needed to stop and rest or when I wanted to circle back and look at something by myself. The guide in Aurangabad took me to a craft shop where ancient methods of weaving are being preserved..I loved that. The drivers were dear, especially one called Raju who was with me through Delhi and Agra.

I picked The Meadows myself and I picked it knowing that it was a 1 star hotel. Not surprisingly it was the least comfortable, but it was far from a problem. In my travels I have stayed in far, far worse

For the record, I felt ok walking by myself in Delhi, Aurangabad and Bombay. Also, thanks to the helpfulness and consideration of my guide. I had an evening return to the Taj Mahal by myself that was sublime.

We just came back to Poland, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great organization of our trip.

We are very happy that we decided to choose Travelite, everything was perfectly done, and we came back with great memories!

We filled our the questionairre form (sorry that the paper did not look nicely, but we did it on the backwaters, and then took in in our backpacks:-) - I hope you got it from your representative in Trivandrum, whom we handed it over?

Our driver Harpinder was really nice; he was always attentive, helpful, absolutely punctual and nice. We had a great time talking to him and learning about India. When we talked over the phone you asked why we did not ask him more often to drive us somewhere - and I am sure many of your other tourists would do so. We expected pure transfer and sometimes a ride to a monument, but we absolutely wanted to see the cities on our own (with autos, own shopping, etc), and we were fully satisfied with this choice. I have to admit, although India was astonishing and sometimes overwhelmed us, we never felt any bit insecure or "in danger", walking  days and evenings in the cities.

Did we mention in the questionnaire that we actually attended the Indian wedding while in Delhi? Walking down the street in Old Delhi, we stopped to see the entrance of te big wedding tent, and were invited by the brother of the bride inside - we were a little "shy" to enter, but they were so welcoming and insisted we go, so we spent 4 hours, seeing, what I believe was our utmost India experience - not the travel-guide tourist spot, but real life! Simply amazing!

We thought you would like some more detailed feedback :-)

Delhi - Tara Palace was a budget hotel that we expected, and it was absolutely fine, with AC, clean bed linens and bathroom facilities. The location in the Old Dehli, just opposite the Chandini Chowk was kind of amazing and put is right away in the middle of everything :-)

Mandawa - the Udai Vilas hotel was really good, it has in fact I guess the cleanest and best bed linen throughout our trip, the rooms were really spacious, and absolutely amazingly furnished. The only drawback was that the hotel was not in the centre of the village, but then, we understood, that Mandawa was rather the stopover on the route to Bikaner, then the real "destination".

Bikaner - The Largargh Hotel is absolutely to be recommended, but I guess you know that already:-) Quite an experience we must say, sleeping there, with huge rooms and bathrooms, and such an ambience!

Jalsaimer - The Golden Havelis hotel looks new, the rooms are pleasant, and the staff was very helpful (with broken lock in the doors, maps, etc). We absolutely loved Jalsaimer, and the fort!

Camel ride - the camel ride experience and seeing, the sunset on the Sam Dunes was perfect, and should be recommended! We were supposed to be staying in the "City Havelis" tents, but we decided to go back for the night for Jalsaimer. The reason for that was mainly because we wanted to see some more of Jalsaimer in the morning, and this was easier being there already from early morning. While going there, there were many other tents organized by other hotels on the road, with many buses and coaches standing there, so I assume, more tourists were there.

Jodhpur - here we stayed in Ratan Vilas, which was an absolutely superb stay! This is a 1920s house, still looking more like a private mansion then the hotel (reading room with books and old family photographs, etc), with a great patio where they serve breakfast and rooms decorated with really antique-styled furniture (desks, marble bedside tables, lamps). The bathroom was spotless.

Udaipur - the Ram Pratam (did I pronounce it well?) hotel was proper, but nothing exceptional as in Jodpur - small rooms, but with good AC, linens and good bathroom. We loved the city, and we were happy to spend 2 nights there!

Jaipur - Maharani Palace was OK, with great breakfast buffet (all the previous hotels had standard continental breakfast with toasts, omelets, jam and tea/coffee). In this hotel the breakfast was a big choice buffet with both European as well as Indian dishes. The Red fort was amazing, and we really really liked the guide there - we do not remember his name, but he was really competent, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to spend time with!

Ranthambore - nice difference after so many cities. Please take care of the afternoon safari starting time, so you might avoid the problem again - definitely it takes 3-4 hours to get there from Jaipur, and tourists should be ready to start the safari at 2:30 pm. But the manager Vishnu Rathore was really helpful and organized a Jeep trip for us, and he personally took us there. So we had a chance to experience both Jeep and Canter safari rides. As far as the Vatika Resort goes - they prepared great food, both for lunch and for dinner, and Vishnu was really friendly. 

Agra - absolutely great stay at the Howard Park Plaza. Plus extra-conveniently located, we had a great 5-minutes walk to the Taj Mahal!

Cochin - The Wyte Fort hotel had good rooms and v. good buffet dinner and breakfast (actually it was the only hotel where we ate dinner, in all other cities we ate in the town).

Allepey - the houseboat you organized was simply amazing. The boat was perfect, with plenty of seating space, so we had a great time relaxing and reading books (for the first time in 2 weeks :-). The food was great and the staff- very discreet. Since we had to depart the boat at 5:30 in the morning, we absolutely did not expect the breakfast, but the offered us to serve it, and we had the breakfast at 5 am - amazing. The driver then who took us to the airport in Trivandrum was on time and v. nice, and we made it without problems to the airport.

Well, Neha, I think it is all for now. We will, surely refer you and Travelite for any of our friends, who might be organizing a similar trip as we did!

Our trip was just excellent--I'd say it exceeded expectations for both of us!

The local agents met us on time every time; in fact, they usually found us even before we started looking for them. The tour guides were very good as were the cars and drivers. The hotels were all very nice; in fact, everywhere we went we felt treated like royalty; Indian hospitality is indeed remarkable. Everyone we met in your travel industry is a complete professional.

And--we did get to see tigers at Bandhavgarh- On the last drive, we got to ride an elephant and observed a resting tiger up close for 3-4 minutes, so we could not have asked for more.

The flight changes went fine; the attention to detail by everyone assured that everything was smooth.

My wife and I have the same aversion to group tours as we do to colonoscopies. Yet, because of inexperience with traveling in India, language differences and transportation uncertainties, we didn’t want to book things entirely on our own, either. And going to a local travel agency seemed pointless because they couldn’t be expected to have any more “on the ground” knowledge of our desired destinations than we have; and most of them just want to point you to a group tour anyway.

So I think we found the perfect solution and it worked beautifully. Our itinerary was fairly complex—a month in India staying in 10-12 different locations ranging from Delhi in the north to Kerala in the south, and traveling by overnight train, plane, car and driver, and houseboat. Plus, we wanted smaller, more intimate hotels that are sometimes harder to book. When we got the invoice for the whole package, I was very pleased that the total cost was so reasonable.

It’s what happened once we were in India that was especially impressive. Everything was coordinated from Delhi by Travelite (India), and on the first day we met with their rep who explained every detail of travel for our next four weeks. At every destination we were met by a local representative, so promptly in fact that it was uncanny. For example, in Katni, I had just stepped off the train and was still getting my bag when a young man stepped up and identified himself as our rep. Our local guides and drivers in each of our many destinations were totally professional, yet very warm and engaging. Everything went so smoothly that the trip ran like a well-oiled machine; in fact, I seriously doubt that many so-called “developed” countries could come anywhere close to matching the service levels and attention to detail of India’s travel professionals (and I do mean “professionals”—they take the satisfaction of their guests very seriously). We had one change in itinerary because of a flight cancellation and it was coordinated between the local guide where we were and Travelite (india) via cell phone, so it was no hassle at all.

To anyone who may be hesitating in going to India because of 26/11 in Mumbai or other concerns, I’d say “Go! Now.”. We felt perfectly safe everywhere we went, even walking city streets like Jaipur and Udaipur after dark. In fact, I’d say we felt safer than we would walking in many American cities. And India is changing rapidly, so you need to see it before more of the old ways disappear. For example, passing ox carts on the highway, our guide remarked that he didn’t think they would still be around in five years. In Rajasthan, we saw ox-powered water pumps that are rapidly being replaced by electrical ones.

My wife and I are very demanding travelers, so it takes a lot to impress us. But our praise for Travelite (India) and all of its correspondent professionals that took care of us on the ground in India is effusive.

You can’t do better.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a very good trip. India is overwhelming. It's rich and poor, beautiful and ugly. Travelite was wonderful and our tour guide Rakesh was first rate. The trip would not have been nearly as informative and we would have missed so much if Rakesh had not traveled with us throughout the week. The driver and the porter -- we didn't expect him, but after we saw the driving conditions we realized why he was there -- were very professional and always prompt. The change in our schedule was handled well. Only one thing, we realized we did not get to see a Hindu temple . We forgot to remind Rakesh.

John and I think the Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi is the best hotel we've ever stayed in; service and facilities are wonderful. I especially liked the pool and the expedited check in and check out services. We can't imagine why anyone would want to go in high season if they could stay at the Taj Hotels at lower rates in May or early June.

Thank you for arranging such a wonderful trip for us. We will recommend you to anyone interested in India.

We also hope that we were not difficult tourists for Rakesh, Deepak and Shiv.

We want to express our sincerely gratitude for assistance in our journey in India (tour code - SIC 78-N3, our travel started at 21 and finished at 29 Aprill, 08). Accomodation in all hotels during our travel was according to request; best hotel for this travel was Clarks in Agra, after Clarks in Jaipur....

The Grand Sartaj is on the next.... All transport (car) during journey was good, fast, safety. All drivers were kind, friendly & good professional. All our request was carried out good & fast. Stores & shops during our travel was looks perfect, has very nice goods inside Restaurant service (food etc) in hotels was good.... for sure in Agra, Jaipur Clarks was much better... The speed of our travel was raid, but very informative; completely be in keeping to our needs.

We would like to put our feelings in separate words of gratitude to our guide Mr.Chandan Singh. He is very good educated & civilized man. He excelent possessed in history of own people & own country, knows a lot of legends & facts about the Great places & memorials (monuments) in India. When we start to prepare our travel in India, we read a lot of bad & untidy (slovenly) information about India & Indian people, but due to Mr.Chandan Singh these nasty rumours was broken. Mr.Chandan Singh shows to us different India - from one side a legendary & majestic country with deep cultural & intellectual values and modern pespective developed country with great & wise (sage) people from the other side. Mr.Chandan Singh make a Great & Noble work for our country, when shows to foreign tourist Industan as a beautiful & rich of cultural values country. He ia deserving & noble citizen of your country.
