Land of Paradise – Srinagar and Gulmarg

Day 1

Arrive Srinagar

Upon your arrival at Srinagar airport this morning, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel.

Enjoy a day at leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude and the mountains of Srinagar.

Day 2

Day in Srinagar

After breakfast, take a half day sightseeing tour of the old city and Mughal Gardens. The old city tour includes a visit to Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan mosque, Srinagar Museum and a stroll through the narrow bazaar of the city. In the world famous Mughal gardens, you will visit Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asaf Jah in 1636 AD and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan in 1619 AD.

Rest of the day at liesure for you to explore the serene and beautiful sights of Srinagar.

Day 3

Day at Srinagar (Excursion to Gulmarg)

After breakfast, embark on a full day tour of Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful places in the valley. Gulmarg is famous for golf in the summer and skiing in winters. Enjoy the splendour of nature and the snowy mountains. You will have the option of enjoying a Gondola ride (cable car) in the mountains of Gulmarg (at extra charge).

Later in the evening, return to Srinagar for overnight stay.

Day 4

Day in Srinagar

Enjoy a day at leisure in Srinagar. Wander through the local bazaars and spend the day exploring the beauty of Srinagar and its people. This afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Dal Lake, in a Shikara (local house boat).

Day 5

Depart Srinagar

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for onward destination.
