Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival in the hi- tech Indian city of Bangalore, you will be greeted by our representative at the International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Bangalore visiting the Government museum (one of the oldest museums of India), Vidhan Soudha (state legislative chambers with magnificent amalgamation of modern and traditional Dravidian temple style architecture), and also visit “Lal Bagh Gardens” (regarded as one of the most richly diverse botanical gardens in south Asia).

En route visit Srirangapatnam – an island in the Cauvery River where “Tipu Sultan” built his summer palace.

Later embark on a short drive to Mysore - Mysore was the old capital city of Mysore state. In 16 century wadayar kings ruled the kingdom as their capital. Later in 17 century when military revolution came. Hyderali who was one of the military chief took over the rule. Later Hyder Ali and the son Tippusultan expanded their kingdom, up to half of Tamilanadu state and half of Kerala state. Later on 1799 on battle with British Tippusultan were defeated. Later the area came to the control of British.

Day 3

After Breakfast, Enjoy a city tour of Mysore visiting the Maharaja's Palace - one of the largest palace complex in India; St Philomena's Church; Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery in the Jag Mohan Palace, which has a collection of exquisite paintings. In the afternoon visit the Chamundi hill and Bull temple and see the daily prayers and rituals being performed by priests.

Devaraja market: visit the local market to watch the activities like local trading, famous for silk sarees (Mysore Silk), Sandalwood carvings and the many verities of perfumed incense sticks etc.

Day 4

This morning, embark on drive to Coorg (120 kms / 2.5 hrs); one of the most fascinating hill stations in India, Coorg is famous for its enchanting landscape and its natural bounty. A treasure trove for Karnataka's Tourism Industry, it is one of the most frequented hill-stations in South India. This is called as a virtual paradise on earth crowned with glorious mist cloaked hills and graced with coffee plantations.

Upon arrival at Coorg, check-in into your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5

This morning after breakfast at hotel, embark on drive to Wayanad - is a derivative of the term Vayal Nadu, where Vayal means Paddy fields and Nadu the land, comprising it to indicate a land of paddy fields. Wayanad is explicitly beautiful with mist clad mountains, intense forests and fertile green plantations. The forests of Wayanad are cosmic landmasses for animals to enjoy their natural dwelling. Home to exotic legends and ancient mysterious mountain caves, jungle trails and exotic wildlife. Being traditionally more or less isolated from rest of Kerala, the region has a distinctive character of its own.

Neelimala View Point - At a distance of 27 km from Kalpetta and 12 km from Sulthan Bathery, Neelimala View Point is a scenic spot that offers bird's eye view of the Meenmutty falls and the valleys surrounding it. The route to the point is a good trekking route too.

Sulthan Bathery - is also a prominent town in the Wayanad District and was originally named as Ganapathyvattom. The name was changed in the 18th century, when Tipu Sultan captured the Jain Temple in the region.

The Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, also referred to as the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, is located on 345 square kilometers of densely forested land. This sanctuary is popular with birdwatchers. Such birds as peacocks, babblers, egrets, snipes, bulbuls, peafowl, and cormorants can be seen here Edakkal Caves- the Edakkal Caves feature a crevice of around 96 feet in length, 30 feet in depth and 22 feet in width. There is a fissure at this site that was created due to splitting of a rock. This fissure and rock walls feature carvings of animal and human figures of the pre-historic period. Day 6

This morning check out from the hotel and embark on drive to Calicut - Calicut is popularly known as a land of faultless beaches, scented spice gardens, charming country sides and warm people. This place is bounded by magnanimous hills, babbling streams, significant sites, wildlife sanctuaries, picturesque villages & busy bazaars that lure tourists from all around the world.

Upon arrival at Calicut, check- inn into hotel and freshen up for sightseeing tour to Calicut - Calicut Beach, Thali Temple, Kappad Beach, Pazhassiraja Museum, Beypore Beach. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7

This morning, embark on drive to Kochi (181 Kms). Kochi, also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is one of the finest natural harbours in the world. Starting from the Dutch, Portuguese and the British, Kochi was the site of the first European colonial settlements in India.

Upon arrival at Cochin and check-in into hotel for 02 nights stay

Day 8

After an early breakfast, take a guided walk through the historic Fort Kochi area. This morning we will visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and see the authentic Chinese fishing nets still in use.

Today we provide you some options to choose from. Enjoy your afternoon exploring Kochi the way you prefer. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9

After breakfast, in time transfer to Cochin airport for your onward journey.
